Mond /Farbimpression, Pastell,
2010, © Astrid Volquardsen

Sommerabschied, irgendwie.

    Hi Astrid,

Love the soft, dreamy atmosphere of these paintings, especially the second with the hint of reflections off the water.

Astrid, your works are stunning. So atmospheric, mysterious and full of that intangible 'something' that makes us all sit up and pay attention. I'm delighted to have found you and very much looking forward to following your progress.

The moon is magic, as is the fog. Together, they make paintings like only Astrid can make. Beautifully atmospheric!

    Hallo Angela,

Lisa, Sonya, Caroline, Sam: thanks for all your comments. It seems as these paintings touch something in the people souls and it's so great to get a feedback like this, because as an artist, you#re sometimes not so sure about your own paintings…

Mir persönlich gefällt das untere Bild ganz, ganz besonders!!
    Viele liebe Grüße
    Kendra

Love this and the recent ones too, of the mountains (although those make me shiver). Your students are also extremely talented!
