On my last ramble in the harbor there were loads of people but hardly any ships. This is kind of unsatisfactory when there isn’t the aha-moment and nothing finds its way into the sketchbook or is worth taking a picture of.
So I called it a day and on my way back a little girl chatted me up and asked what I was doing. I showed her my sketchbook and explained to her how a camera is working. In awe she looked through the finder and how small things in a distance can become so big. Thanks to her we spotted the tug boat at a place where I would have never guessed tug boats would come from as they maneuvered a big ship to the waterway.
