In the evening and as night falls the river and harbor is covered by this wonderful light. The colorful shores change to an almost monochromatic impression, interrupted by the lights of houses and the workdocks in the distance.
A lot of the residence come down for an evening walk and have a look if some of the ships leave for another journey.

Hallo Astrid, einfach schön und stimmungsvoll diese Bilder in der »blauen Stunde«. Malst du auch um diese Tageszeit draußen oder fertigst du Skizzen und Fotos an, um alles im Atelier fertig zu stellen? Für mich persönlich verfliegt die blaue Stunde viel zu schnell, ehe man beginnt und das Motiv aufnimmt, wird es schon dunkel. Liebe Grüße Rosi aus Jänschwalde

Natürlich benutze ich auch einen Fotoapperat und Skizzen, gerade wenn ich die Bilder in Pastell umsetze.
In Öl male ich allerdings auch um diese Tageszeit draußen und dann ist es eine wirkliche Jagd mit der Zeit und Licht. Beispiele folgen demnächst.
